Inspired by the ancient lions of Delos, the sacred Greek island in the Aegean Sea, this fragmentary figure looks out on the ocean from 3000 BC into the future. The birthplace of Apollo, the island of Delos ruled over the sea until 88 BC when it was burned to the ground.
